Refund and Returns Policy

At Zafran House, we strive to deliver premium quality dry fruits and spices to our customers across India. Due to the nature of food products, we follow a strict but fair Return and Refund Policy in compliance with Razorpay guidelines.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. No Return Policy (Food Products)

  • Since we sell perishable and consumable food items, returns are not accepted once the order is delivered.
  • We do not accept returns for reasons such as taste preference, change of mind, or incorrect selection by the customer.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Product

Refunds or replacements will be considered only under the following conditions:

  • The product received is damaged
  • The product is defective
  • The wrong item was delivered

To be eligible:

  • You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery
  • Clear photos and/or unboxing video must be shared as proof
  • The product must be unused and in its original packaging

Requests made after 24 hours of delivery will not be accepted.


3. Refund Process (Razorpay Compliant)

  • Once your request is reviewed and approved, the refund will be initiated.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during checkout (via Razorpay).
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • In some cases, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund.

4. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.
  • Once the order has been shipped, cancellation requests will not be accepted.
  • If a prepaid order is cancelled before dispatch, the refund will be processed through Razorpay to the original payment method.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Incorrect address or contact details provided by the customer
  • Failed delivery due to customer unavailability
  • Delays caused by courier partners, natural calamities, or government restrictions
  • Improper storage or handling of the product after delivery

6. Quality Disclaimer

  • All products are quality-checked before dispatch.
  • Customers are advised to follow storage instructions mentioned on the packaging.
  • Zafran House is not responsible for spoilage or quality issues arising due to improper storage after delivery.
